I will kick things off by introducing myself!

My name is Sam, I play Breq from the book Ancillary Justice, and I'm also your head Mod/game runner whatever you wanna call it. I do know a few of you from other games (IRL in a couple cases) but some of you are new to me and I'm looking forward to meeting and playing with you all!

For the curious, my character, Breq, is a actually an the AI of a thousand year old warship, trapped permanently in a human body, and just coming into Redshift after the culmination of her 20 year plot for revenge!

You can always PM for plotting stuff on Breq's journal, or if plurk is more your jam, you can hit me up at nonvieta (feel free to add me there if you'd like!). If you need me for mod stuff and it's minor, you can contact me on plurk, but if it's important and you don't want it to get lost, contacting the mod plurk or the modjournal is preferable!

My name is Lex, I play Lewa Nuva from Lego's Bionicle storyline, a cheerful biomechanical wind spirit who's primary job is to go out in the wilderness, fight the newest creatures of shadow, and usually collect masks of some kind. I'm Cassandra and I play Maias (OC), a morally grey bandit who is such a piece of shit that when he died, the guy who revived him put a curse on him, so if he continues to be a murdering jerkface he'll turn into a creature of the undead, oops. He's also being forced to play hero because of some nonsense in his world, and he's been brought here after learning the nonsense was a huge ploy of even bigger nonsense.

Hi Everyone! I'm Brian, playing Mordecai from Lackadaisy, a web comic all about rum-running and speakeasies in ~1928 St. Louis. More or less a triggerman, hes been bookkeeping for ne'er-do-wells since his early teens, and isn't much of a people person on the best of days. Hes usually a bit more flat and angry, but I'm hoping to make him MUCH a bit more personable, (if just to make CR a little less miserable!). However, this last month has been my first real attempt at any sort of RP. Ever. At all. I'm still trying to get whatever the equivalent of sea-legs are for that, but I greatly welcome any sort of advice or pointers!

I know I'LL definitely have questions, but i could be reached either by pm, or by mrcheshire for plurk! I cant wait to meet everyone, and get to playing with all of you!!

Hello fellow redshifters

My name is Dan and I've been playing this diabetic samurai for awhile now. I don't think I know anybody in this game, and that's kind of exciting so nice to meet everybody. Feel free to hit me up on plurk at tropospheres For anybody not familiar with Gintama, it's hilarious and everybody should watch it. That's all you need to know.

Normally, Gintoki spends his time running an odd-jobs business and hanging out with his adopted children teenaged employees, avoiding paying rent, wasting money on gambling and sugar, and making heroic shounen speeches while beating the hell out of his enemies. But sometimes he runs away instead. He can be incredibly prickly but he'll also go well out of his way to protect people and somewhere deep down he has a heart of gold.

Also to avoid confusion, he's a samurai from the 1850s-1860s, but Gintama is set in an AU where aliens invaded the earth around that time. So he's much more familiar with space and new technology than a 19th century samurai should be.
